Using AutoScript Sync with The Handy
AutoScript Sync plays The Handy funscript sessions over Bluetooth only, through the Intiface engine it bundles; The Handy's own Wi-Fi connection key is not supported. The app streams the script to the device live from your PC, and it has separate profiles for The Handy and The Handy 2 Pro. We have not yet tested it on a real Handy.

Bluetooth through Intiface, not Wi-Fi
The Handy has its own Wi-Fi and cloud interface, reached with a connection key. AutoScript Sync does not use it. The only route is Buttplug over Bluetooth, which the app reaches through its bundled Intiface engine on your PC, or through an Intiface Central you already run. Nothing about the script is sent to The Handy's servers: on this path nothing is uploaded at all.
That also means The Handy gets what every Intiface device gets, including no drift correction. The Intiface and Buttplug setup page covers the engine, the scan and the commands in full; this page covers what is specific to The Handy.
The two Handy profiles

A unit is one step of the funscript's 0 to 100 position scale. Both figures are the manufacturer's published numbers minus about 10%. They are limits the app sets, not measurements we made on a Handy.
When the profile applies. In the released app, The Handy plays the script as it was generated: the profile's limits and your Stroke Settings are applied to Intiface devices in the next update. Until then, the funscript validator, set to 490 or 575 units per second, shows which moves in a script are faster than the profile allows.
Choosing the profile
Pick The Handy or The Handy 2 Pro under Device model in the Device panel, or leave it on Auto-detect on connect. Auto-detect reads the device name Buttplug reports: a name containing “handy” together with “pro” or “2 pro” gets The Handy 2 Pro profile, and any other name containing “handy” gets The Handy profile. A choice you make by hand always wins over auto-detect, and it works before you connect.
Setting it up
- In the Device panel, set the connection to
Intiface / Buttplug (local). LeaveServer URLatws://127.0.0.1:12345unless you run your own Intiface server elsewhere. - Under
Device model, chooseThe HandyorThe Handy 2 Pro, or leave auto-detect on. - Switch The Handy on, then press Connect. The app starts its engine if nothing is running and scans for up to 12 seconds.
- Open a video. A
.funscriptwith the same name beside it is loaded automatically; otherwise press Generate to make one. - Press Send Script to Device. Nothing is uploaded; the app shows
Script: ready (live streaming). - Press Play. If the motion feels consistently late, raise Offset in 50 ms steps; if it feels early, lower it. The app remembers the value for that video.
What The Handy receives
Each point in the script becomes one Buttplug LinearCmd: a target position and the time to get there, which is the gap to the next point, never less than 30 ms. The Handy moves between points by itself. When you pause the video it moves to the middle of its travel, position 50, and Test Stroke moves it gently down, up and back to the middle.
Limits to know before you buy
- No drift correction. The script runs on your PC's clock from each Play or seek. The app measures no latency on this path and does not correct drift; pausing and playing again re-anchors it.
- Not yet tested by us on a real Handy. The Intiface path was tested against mock servers and fake toys on the real engine. The only device we have tested on real hardware is the Autoblow AI Ultra.
- The engine's device list. The bundled engine is intiface-engine v1.4.8 from November 2023. A Handy model released after that may not be recognised by it.
- No Wi-Fi. The app cannot reach The Handy over Wi-Fi, with or without a connection key.
Using the saved script in other players
Every finished generation is saved beside the video as <video>.funscript, and an earlier file of the same name is kept as <video>.funscript.bak. The saved file holds the script as generated, not the copy shaped for a device, with whole-number positions from 0 to 100 in time order. If you play scripts on The Handy with another program, it can open that file like any other funscript; AutoScript Sync itself does not sync with other players. Questions
Can I use my Handy's connection key instead of Bluetooth?
No. The app supports The Handy only over Bluetooth through Intiface. Its Wi-Fi and cloud interface is not supported.
Do I need to install Intiface Central?
No. The app ships its own Intiface engine and starts it when you press Connect. If you already run Intiface Central, the app uses that instead; we have not yet checked the app against Intiface Central v3.
My Handy 2 Pro was detected as The Handy. What do I do?
Choose The Handy 2 Pro under Device model. A choice made there always wins over auto-detect.
Does The Handy get the same timing correction as the Autoblow AI Ultra?
No. The Ultra plays an uploaded script and the app corrects its drift every 1.5 to 5 seconds. The Handy is driven live from your PC with no drift correction, and is re-anchored only on Play, seek or a settings change.
